When combined with 6 to 12 months of experience, professionals holding the CKYCA certification are capable of independently performing basic enhanced due diligence activities and issuing appropriate alerts for the highest-risk cases.

The CGSS certification was developed for professionals with 18 months to two years of experience in the field of compliance with anti-financial crime regulations. Holding the CGSS certification demonstrates that the individual has the necessary knowledge to manage risks related to sanctions and to ensure effective compliance with sanction regulations.
Cryptoasset Anti-Financial Crime Specialist
When combined with 18 months to two years of experience in the field of financial crime compliance, obtaining the Certified Crypto asset Anti-Financial Crime Specialist (CCAS) certification demonstrates that the individual possesses the necessary knowledge to manage risks and comply with regulations related to financial crime in the context of the cryptocurrency industry.

The CAMS certification is a globally recognized credential that presents the core principles of money laundering and how to prevent this activity. In just four months, individuals and teams can achieve certification to become Anti-Money Laundering Specialists.
Frequently Asked Questions
Online classes through lecture videos and online materials, students arrange their own study time. There will be an instructor teaching online 2 sessions per week for 6 weeks. All learning resources will be in English.
For Associate-Level certification, there are no requirements.
For Specialist-Level certification, there will be requirements related to your educational background and experience in the relevant field. Contribution criteria include:
- Post-secondary education level (Highest degree, not necessarily related to the field).
- Number of years of work experience in the field related to the certification you wish to pursue.
- Industry-related certifications (including Foundation and Associate-Level certification from ACAMS).
- Number of hours attending live or online training events on the topic of money laundering (e.g., workshops, conferences, or webinars).
Associate Level Certification: You will have 4 months to access the course materials and schedule the exam with ACAMS. The exam lasts 90 minutes and consists of 60 multiple-choice questions.
Specialist level certification: You have 6 months to study and schedule the exam with ACAMS. The exam lasts 3 - 3.5 hours (depending on the certification) and includes 120 multiple-choice questions.

Associate-Level Certification: 1 year, annual maintenance required
Associate-Level Specialist: 3 years, maintained by earning 60 industry-related credits (Attending workshops, completing relevant certifications within/outside of ACAMS, publishing articles or speaking at related events,...)
Note: You need to be an ACAMS member (annual maintenance) to keep your certification valid.
